Healthy Bodies, Healthy Minds 2023

Circle of Care, Hudson Partnership and for the first time joining, Bergen’s Promise (the Care Management Organizations of Passaic, Hudson and Bergen respectively) co- hosted the 14^th annual Healthy Bodies Healthy Minds (HBHM) event on June 10^th, 2023 at Garret Mountain in Woodland Park.

While there was a bump in the road and the original date was rescheduled due to inclement weather, the annual tradition continued to be as successful as it is year after year. HBHM continues to be a wonderful opportunity to engage youth and families from each county in fun and exciting activities as well as to provide them with more information about wellness, community support and resources. Using the 8 Dimensions of Wellness as a framework, families were invited to explore the vendors present, and identify different domains throughout the event. 

This year some of the activities that were offered included horse rides through the Equestrian Center, a reptile petting zoo through NJ Snake Man, henna tattoos, Zumba, yoga, face painting, an obstacle course, a photobooth and many more! Community agencies and organizations from all three counties joined in on the fun, while providing the community with their information and resources.  Thank you to all attendees, to our sponsors and volunteer staff who made this event so successful!
